Joan Manuel Serrat i Teresa (born December 27, 1943 in Barcelona) is a famous Spanish singer-songwriter.
Catalan singer-songwriter Joan Manuel Serrat got involved in music at the age of 17, when he got his first guitar, to which he dedicates one of his earliest songs, “Una guitarra.”

Alejandro Sanz, born Alejandro Sánchez Pizarro on December 18, 1968 in Madrid, Spain, is a Grammy Award winning Spanish pop/ballad musician. The second son of María Pizarro Medina from Alcalá de los Gazules, and Jesús Sánchez Madero from Algeciras.Alejandro Sanz began playing guitar at the age of seven and composing his first songs three years later. The young musician started attending management classes after moving from the neighborhood of Pueblo Nuevo to Moratalaz.

Toreros

 A torero is the main performer in bullfighting events in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. He or she is the person who performs with and kills the bull. The role is also called toreador in English (and in Bizet’s opera Carmen), but this term (older than torero) is actually never used in Spain or in Latin America. The term torero encompasses bullfighters who fight the bull in the ring (picadores and rejoneadores).

Usually, toreros start fighting young bulls (novillos), and are called novilleros. They can start fighting mature bulls after a special match, called “the Alternative”. At this bullfight the novillero (junior bullfighter) is presented to the crowd as a matador de toros.

I hate this activity because they kill animals only for fun

Flamenco

Flamenco is a Spanish term that refers both to a musical genre, known for its intricate rapid passages, and a dance genre characterized by its audible footwork. The origins of the term are unclear as the word also means Flemish or flamingo. The word Flamenco, which applies to the song, the dance and the guitar, did not come into use until the 19th century.
Flamenco embodies a complex musical and cultural tradition. Although considered part of the culture of Spain in general, flamenco actually originates from one region: Andalusia. However, other areas, mainly Extremadura and Murcia, have contributed to the development of several flamenco musical forms, and a great number of renowned flamenco artists have been born in other territories of the state. It is generally acknowledged that flamenco grew out of the unique interplay of native Arabic, Andalusian,Sephardic, and Gypsy cultures that existed in Andalusia prior to and after the Reconquest. Latin American and especially Cuban influences have also been important in shaping several flamenco musical forms. Flamenco is played with a flamenco guitar.

In my opinion flamenco is one of the most important things in the spanish culture.
